REFORMER PILATES

This class is for everybody - newbies, mums-to-be, and experienced regulars. The whole body workout, led by highly trained instructors, uses a reformer and other props to make you feel longer and stronger. It targets posture, core stability, strength, and flexibility. Instructors can make modifications throughout the class to decrease or increase the challenge, ensuring you get the most out of your session.

MEN DO PILATES

For: Men only!

Designed for males, this class challenges the stigma that “Pilates is for girls”. You’ll use the reformer to build and maintain strength while challenging aspects of core strength and balance. It’s a great whole-body workout and a chance to have a laugh with some like-minded people.

Lovers of mat and reformer Pilates, take note. This circuit-style class is the perfect combination of both, and suitable for all. It contains less cardio and more strength-building exercises, using our two favourite Pilates modalities. We use various props to enhance and intensify your workout.

Over 55 and keen to keep your body moving? This is the class for you. We use the reformer and other props to improve strength, maintain posture, and challenge balance and coordination, allowing you to feel more confident with daily activities and keep enjoying the things you love to do.

PRE & POST NATAL

For: Pregnant or Post Natal
Time: 45mins

We love helping Mums and can assist you both during your pregnancy and in your postpartum recovery. This reformer class aims to target core stability, posture, strength and mobility. You can continue Pregnancy Pilates up until bubs arrives (provided you are feeling well, and your GP approves). We provide modifications depending on your stage.

Once bub has joined you, we welcome them too. Quiet ones and loud ones. All without judgement. They may lie on a mat next to you, sit in a pram, rest in a baby bouncer capsule - whatever they prefer. We do our very best to assist in settling so you can keep moving. However, if you need to attend to them, you can simply rejoin the class when ready.

We recommend commencing this class once you’ve had a post-natal check up with your doctor or obstetrician and have been cleared to exercise (generally after six weeks).
